On November 19 Scott officially left his 20s and turned 30 years old! We celebrated his birthday on Friday, November 18. Scott came home from work to a "Heart-Attack" by Paisley, London and I. We used paper hearts and wrote on each heart a reason why we love Scott/Daddy. There were 30 hearts in all (Sorry, I didn't take a picture.) Then we went to Carmel, IN to a restaurant called Chappie's. Neither of us had been there before; it was really good. For Scott's birthday cake, we had been eying that ridiculously huge triple-layer chocolate cake with the shaved pieces of chocolate on the sides they have at Costco. We always thought it be cool to get it for one of our birthdays and so we did it for Scott's. When we had our two slices that night, it looked like we hadn't even touched the cake.
Paisley had a lot of fun with Scott's birthday. Given the fact it's been a little over two weeks and everyday since then Paisley has said, "Happy Birthday Daddy!"
