Halloween

Each year for Halloween, our family has had themed costumes. For example, last year Scott was Peter Pan, I was Wendy and Paisley was Tinker Bell. As Halloween was approaching this year, I tried to decide what our costume theme would be. Now with there being four of us, I felt like there were lots of possibilities. I finally decided on, "The Wizard of Oz." So Scott was the Scarecrow, I was the Tin Man, Paisley was Dorothy and London was The Cowardly Lion. Scott's mom helped me make Paisley's costume and I put together the rest of the costumes. Each year it always seems to be a lot of work, but it's so much fun in the end.
We went Trick-or-Treating with some friends of ours and Paisley had a blast. She did get a little scared when she saw other Trick-or-Treaters who were wearing masks so we tried to avoid those people. Lots of people got a kick out of our costumes and people seemed to love London as the Cowardly Lion.
Paisley got a lot of candy which means Scott and I got a lot of candy. The only disappointing thing was I can't tell you how many times Paisley grabbed a sucker instead of chocolate. We'll obviously have to train her better for next year.

These are the pumpkins we carved for Halloween. The pumpkin on the far left is a witch. Paisley said "Happy Birthday" to the pumpkin when we lit the candle.
London got a little tired before it all even started.
Here's Paisley and London about to go Trick-or-Treating.

London just needed a poppy crown and the nap would just be part of the costume.
