Bowling, Fun at the Park, Mothers' Day, and BBQ

We've had a pretty fun spring/summer so far here in Indiana. Paisley got to bowling for the very first time, and she did a pretty good job of it. The bowling was part of a friend's graduation party, and there was a group of other younger kids with which she got to bowl.

She still needs to practice/learn a lot of things about bowling. For example, she needs to learn that it is inappropriate to cross the line at the beginning of the lane. Paisley's ignorance of that tiny rule is what caused me to have to chase her 3/4 of the way down the lane.

Here is a short video of Paisley in the act of bowling. Say what you will about Paisley's bowling skills, she at least has the post-bowl celebration down.

Paisley also has had a lot of fun playing at local parks. These pictures are from a local elementary school playground. Her favorites things from the playground are going down the slide and playing on the swings.
For Mothers' Day we went to Amazing Joe's, a restaurant in Muncie. It was delicious, but it was hardly an even trade for all of Ashley's hard work as the mother of Paisley (and another one soon).
We finally purchased a charcoal grill and have been having a lot of fun grilling and smelling the unique scent of BBQ.

Video: my new favorite. I love her little celebratory dance. I don't want to wait until August to see you all again. But I guess I can wait, but only if you have another girl for me to hold. Deal?

You drive a hard bargain Jessie, but I guess it's a deal. (Although, we'll have to blame the sonographer if Baby Girl Gower #2 turns out to be Baby Boy Gower =)

The Grimmer Class of '96 shirt is one of my prize possessions. I'm amazed it fits, considering I was 5-ft tall at the time. I guess I actually wear the correct size nowadays.
